The terms “Scrum Training Institute,” “we,” “us,” and “our” include Scrum Training Institute LLC and our affiliates.

Advertising Features: We currently do not collect data in third parties (e.g., Google Analytics Remarketing, Facebook Pixel, DoubleClick cookies, Android’s Advertising ID, Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers), to record demographics and interests reports for remarketing, advertising, or advertising reporting.

For USA only, we collect data from LinkedIn advertisments, using the LinkedIn’s Insight Tag.

Payment Gateway: We do not store your credit card in our website. Our third party payment gateway, Stripe, Inc. handles payments for us. Stripe collects:

  • Address
  • Phone
  • City/State/Zip
  • Unique payment identifier
  • Payment provider identifier

5.1 Analytics Provided by Google Analytics

User-ID is not enabled in our Google Analytics account. This means that we cannot associate your engagement data from different devices and multiple sessions, or see how you interact with our content over an extended period of time.

User and data event data retention are saved for 50 months and then automatically deleted on a monthly basis by Google Analytics.

Scrum Training Institute LLC, is based in the United States. Information about you will be transferred to, and processed in, the U.S. The U.S. may have data protection laws that are different to the laws of your country and, in some cases, may not be as protective. We have taken appropriate safeguards to require that your information will remain protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We employ technical and organizational measures designed to appropriately protect your information that is under our control and that we process on your behalf from unauthorized access collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal, both during transmission and once we receive it. We store all information that you provide to us on our secure server. We train employees regarding our data privacy policies and procedures, and permit authorized employees to access information on a need to know basis, as required for their role.   • Communicate this information to the impacted users, especially if the data breach exposed any of their unencrypted personal data.
  • Consider the needs of any law enforcement investigations before publicly announcing the breach.

Where you have a password, which enables you to use our services, you are responsible for keeping this password complex, secure, and confidential. If you would like to update or change your password, you may select the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page. You will be sent an email that allows you to reset your password.

5.4 Data Retention

For users that create an account (register) on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We retain certain information that we collect from you if you created an account or purchase a course at scrumtraininginstitute.com, and in certain cases where you have deleted your account, for the following reasons:

  • So ensure that we do not communicate with you if you have asked us not to;

Inactive accounts will be preserved until the user request deletion or the Scrum Training Institute considers there’s no legitimate business need to preserve them.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that you provide to third parties, such as other websites were you can register for courses. Our website may direct you to a third-party service, to register for a course. Disclosure of information to these third parties is subject to the relevant third party’s privacy policy. We are not responsible for the third-party privacy policy or content, even if we link to those services from our website or if we share information with these third parties.

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will provide notify you by publishing the most current version and revising the date at the top of this page. If we make any material change to this policy, we will provide additional notice to you, such as by sending you an email or displaying a prominent notice on our website.
